Camping, Swimming,Boating

We went to starvation reservoir this weekend with Brian's family. We had a great time boating, camping, fishing, and playing on the beach. The only down fall was Brian and I sleeping with the baby and her waking up several times in the middle of the night just to look at us and say hi repeatedly. Good thing she is really cute during the day=)

L- Brady's little head as he jumped off the boat into the water. (I know he had a life jacket on but I still thought he was pretty brave)
R-Brians mom Terrie cutting Grandpa Shawns pants into shorts so he could go swimming. I kept telling him that with his shorty shorts and his dew rag he looked like a village person! He knew I was just joking. But it was still fun to sing the YMCA every time I saw him!

The kids playing on the beach, trying to jump the waves!

Brian jumping into the water. I would give that dive or cannon ball a 10!

FYI Blog Book

For those of you that were curious about turning your blog into a book. My sis just did it. She used the link that I have on my blog on the right (Blog book). Hers was 150 pages and it was only $50 that is hard bound cover and everything. I have downloaded all my blog to this program and so far it is really easy and fun. I just thought I would let everyone know!

The bus driver

I have been reading lots of my friends blogs about how they are worried about their kids riding the school bus. So I have made sure to ask my kids when they get home how the ride was and if everything went ok. Well today I asked brady and he said "Well the bus driver told us to sit ir (our) asses down." I said were you standing up and he said "yes but he shouldn't say that woid (word)." Which is true but I do think that brady was happy to have a free pass to swear!

Tag!

So my friend Amy tagged me awhile back. You are supposed to put a picture of 1o things in your house. I decided to do 10 things that I love about this house. Because as nice as this house is. I still miss my house in bellevue. So today I'm deciding to accentuate the positive!
The kitchen, because well its big and I like it!
Trash compactor. Because I take the garbage out maybe once every two weeks. Where with a normal garbage it was once or twice a day

My can cupboard, I buy cans just so I can put them away. My tub because its huge and I love to take baths.
This room that we call the big room, its big and I'm pretty sure it will be great when winter comes and there is 6 ft of snow outside. Because apparently even though we moved from bellevue we will still be getting tons of snow.
The laundry room, because it is its own room and not a mudroom/laundry room
The exercise room, and my giant closet! (Well giant compared to the one in bellevue)
and last but not least, the guest room and the view from the guest room. Anyone want to come and visit?
I tag Carrie and Jeni. Because well I want to see your houses!

Brady's first day of school (sniff sniff)

My Baby (well he was my baby for 5 years) went to kindergarten today! I have to admit I was sad to see him go. He seemed so big getting on that school bus. Its a good thing I have paislee to keep me company! I asked him if he was excited and he asked if I could make it so he would be in Krissa's class. I told him kindergarten was a lot more fun than second grade! He rode the school bus and then I met him at school. It was so cute to see all the little kindergartners excited for school. There was only one that was crying . Well one kid crying, there were a few moms with tears in there eyes=)

Brady was holding paislee's hand and walking on the grass while we waited for the bus. I thought they were so cute together.

Starvation Reservoir

Brian and I got to go fishing with his dad and brothers Mitchell and Larry on starvation reservoir this weekend. Grandma Terrie was really nice (and really happy) to watch the kids while we got some boating time without hearing, the movies over, I'm hungry, etc. We had a great time and even caught a few fish. Thanks Grandma Terrie!
I had to share this picture of paislee with her uncle mitchell. Paislee loves mitchell if we were all in a room she would go to mitchell every time. Even over Brian and I.

Flash Back Friday

I thought since it was the start of school for the kids. I would post some graduation pictures of Brian and I!

Isn't he cute. I'm lucky no one else nabbed him up before I met him a year later!

Paislee (15 months old)

I took paislee for her 15 month check today. She weighs 25'11 and is 31 inches long.
Here a few things she can do:
-Give kisses
-Repeat just about anything we say (as long as she wants to)
-Throw tantrums (I think the terrible twos are starting early)
-Stand at the pantry and repeat cacker(cracker) until someone gets up to get her one!
These are just some of the things I could think of. We are so happy we have our little paislee. She is getting to be quite the little character. What would we do without her?
Paislee giving kisses (well practically making out) to her baby!

Poison Berries!

Brady and I were sitting outside waiting for Krissa to come home off the school bus. I was looking at some berries and asked Brady if he thought they were poison and if we could eat them. He said "yes you can eat them but they are poison, they taste like hair." I said have you tried them he said "Yes and they taste like hair. That's why squirrels eat them, they like hair." He says the funniest things!

Then this morning Brady asked for a snack and I said only if you blow me a kiss. He blew me a kiss so I blew him a kiss. I pretended to catch his and then he pretended to catch mine. I went to turn away and he said look where I'm putting yours I look up and he is putting my kiss right on his butt and laughing as he ran away. What a little stinker.
I asked Brady the other day what he was most excited about when school starts. He said "I'm not excited for recess. I just want to lurn (learn)" How could you not love this little boy!

Krissa's first day of school!

Today was Krissa's first day of school. When we asked if she was excited she would just say she was nervous. I am sad to see her go because she is my little helper. I think she actually enjoys helping me take care of paislee. She wanted to ride the bus, but also wanted me to walk her to her class so I put her on the bus and then followed her in my truck. One thing that I thought was cool about this school is that they told us at back to school night that they would have a dentist come in for the second graders and give them sealants free of charge. I thought that was pretty cool. Hopefully krissa will cooperate!

Krissa got to ride the bus with her little neighbor friend Jake. (middle left) Although they both said the ride was a little long.

7 Quirky things about me...

I got this off one of my friends blogs. I thought it was fun so I here I go naming 7 things that are quirky about me!

1. I have a serious sickness about being on time. Usually I'm about 10 minutes early, it drives most people crazy.
2. I get a serious high from organizing things. I cant help but be happy after I have organized a cupboard or closet.
3.I hate the sound of anything touching sand paper. And if I touch it I want to throw up.
4. I also hate the feel of flour.
5. I enjoy mowing the lawn. I think it is because I have my ipod and I get to be alone without any noise (except for music) for a good 30 minutes.
6.I am very jumpy. Brian has scared me numerous times during our marriage. (He never seems to get tired of trying to scare me) Probably because it is so easy.
7.I love to get packages in the mail. If brian beats me to the mail he opens all the packages and checks who it is all from before handing it to me. (Just to drive me crazy=)

I tag anyone who is reading this!

Another look how big she is post! (Sorry)

For those of you tired of my posts on how big paislee is I'm sorry. But some things just need to be documented!

Krissa at 4 years old.

Paislee in the same outift at 15 months old!
It is a size 4T. Crazy huh. Granted it is a small 4T but its still a 4T. My baby is growing to fast!

Side note: Brady says the funniest things. A couple days ago we were parked in front of an old abandoned house and Brady and Krissa were talking about how they wondered who lived there. Brady said "Maybe when dad's job tells us to move again we will move there." Brian got quite a kick out of that story=)

Out with the old in with the new!

Brian decided to upgrade his boat. He finally sold his 4-wheeler and traded in his boat for a boat we can all love. He loves the boat and I love to see him happy. He deserves something fun, even if I have to park outside=) Here are some pictures of our previous boats.

This little aluminum boat (which I think I got in once. Can you blame me, does it look stable to you?)

This was our last boat. Which was great except it was getting a little crowded with one more little child running around.
The new boat. It has 5 seats and is a lot wider than our other boat was.
One thing I love about this boat is the seats that krissa and brady are in fold down for more room to move around.

The kids thought it was fun to leave the front cover on the boat and ride in there. As windy as it was I think they had the right idea.
Bottom left- Brian pretending to drive in the driveway=)
Bottom right- My favorite feature the radio=)
