Pipe cleaners and entertaining...

If you want to make two little girls really happy. Just buy them some 97 cent crowns and some colorful pipe cleaners and cotton balls to decorate them. They had a blast and I think Krissa is loving it that Paislee enjoys doing these things too.

Krissa wrote this note on her easel the day after Christmas I just thought it was too cute. (you can click on all these to see them bigger)

We had some friends over for dinner and as you can see Krissa went crazy trying to write notes so they would know what to do at our house. Even making sure (above)that they knew to take only one tooth pick. She also made everyone wait until 5:30 (see below) to unveil her rules for dinner. I love that she even drew a picture of the table. I love my little artist/entertainer =)

Happy Birthday Brian!

Today was Brian's birthday I made this cake and at the last minute I decided to cut up some cabelas magazines and stick his head on figures. Oh and I had to put a picture of his dog on there. The kids thought I was hilarious! Happy Birthday Babe I hope it was a great day=)

ChRiStMaS 2009

When we went to bed last night the power was out and sadly when the kids woke up at 1:00 am and 5:30 and 6:00 it was still out. Actually it didn't come back on until around noon. So we opened presents bundled by the fire place with our candles and cell phone lights=) Everyone got what they wanted and as Paislee opened every present she happily said "just what I wanted". She even liked the clothes she got.

Paislee loves this little doll. It is so cute it falls and gets back up by itself and says some really cute phrases!

Brian found this remote control car that goes in snow, water and dirt and since he was so excited for Brady to have one. I surprised him with one of his own. Now that the powers back on we just have to wait for the batteries to charge.

Can you tell they were just a little excited that it was finally Christmas!

Apparently Krissa already knows how to play a small part of a song. Now I just need to get her in lessons to learn the rest!

Christmas Eve...

Just a disclaimer there is a picture over load ahead

Our day started out with Brian and the kids making cookies for Santa. Then we went up to Sun Valley and saw a few ice sculptures. The day ended with a nice movie The Christmas Story and some good old hot chocolate. And of course the opening of the new pajamas. Brady still tries to get us to let him open something different but hey its tradition=)
