Side Job
I finally talked Brian into naming his boat something besides the Ass boat, so since he paid for his last boat with side jobs and he would love his side jobs to be fishing. He came up with name SIDE JOB. I think its pretty appropriate for him=)

Family Bike Ride
I talked Brian and the girls into joining Brady and I on the same bike ride we took last week. Krissa didn't want to go very bad and Brian wasn't all that excited but I think in the end we all had a great time. It was a little more tiring for me this time since I had to pull Paislee but I just kept trying to tell myself I was getting a better work out. Plus it was nice listening to her sing the spice girls “oh tell me what you want what you really really want”(that's the only part she knows) all the way. And Brian did switch me bikes half way so that was nice. Brady walked down a trail and told Brian there was a dead bear and he should come look. Brian didn't believe him but when Brady insisted he went down. When they came back Brian was saying that Brady was a story teller and Brady said well your just too gullible. haha
I had to get a picture of Brian riding the trail…I’m not sure I will see it again=)

Best Friend
Brady brought his homework from the week home today and I almost cried when I saw this one. He was supposed to write about his best friend and he chose his dad. The first word says Canyon because that's where they like to go. I can’t think of anything better than knowing that my son’s best friend is his dad.=)

Candy Bar, Cake, Pizza, and more Cake…
As you can see Brady finally caught on this year when I said you can eat whatever you want on your birthday. His breakfast was a chocolate bar and chocolate milk=)
I can’t believe my boy is 8. Since he was my baby for 5 years before paislee. I still have a hard time seeing him get older.
We let him open one present before school and as you can see he was just a little excited that it was the video game he has been talking about for months.
The cake and cupcakes I made for him and his class. But I wasn't done yet I still had to make a separate one for him to put his face in.
Brady and his friend Trent having treats at school.
The skateboard he as been wanting for awhile. I’m ok with him riding on it on his belly. It seems like that will save me a trip to the ER.
Yeah my boy is a little silly. And yes he is snorting his orange fanta pop. But judging by his reaction to it I’m pretty sure he won’t do it again.
Ever since Brady saw his cousin Nathan stick his face in a cake on his birthday he had to do it too. I’m pretty sure this was the best thing he did on his birthday he was laughing hysterically.
After all that he wanted to eat the cake his face was in. Silly boy. He managed to have some cake and then he and his friend Trent went Rattle snake hunting with Dad. Not exactly what I would want to do. But I guess that's what boys like to do.
Happy Birthday Buddy=)
Happy Birthday Brady
Happy Birthday to my only Boy. What fun he brings to our house. He is spunky, funny, smart and loving and just a all around good boy. I can’t believe he is 8 and will soon be baptized. Feels like just yesterday I was going through 22 hrs of labor for him to get here. I have since forgiven him (kind of). He was definitely worth it.
We Love You Brady.

First Day of School
Today was the first day of school for all my kids. I have to say I was pretty sad to see them go. But I was happy they were all excited to go. Krissa goes into 4th grade, Brady goes into 2nd and Paislee is in her first year of pre-school. Where has the time gone. sniff sniff
My little preschooler…
My little goof ball. After I took this he said “don’t put that on the blog”. I looked at Brian and said that is so going on the blog.
Brady 2nd Grade
Krissa 4th Grade
Paislee was so happy to finally get to wear her back pack. She has been wearing it around the house for months asking when school starts.

Pine Grouse Hunting
Brian and Brady are happy bird hunting season is finally here. They loaded up the dog and headed up the canyon this morning. Brady ended up shooting the biggest one (the one he is holding) with just his BB gun. Brian told me it was from pretty far away and I could tell he was so proud of his boy. Needless to say Brady was so excited and can’t wait to go again tomorrow. He even said he wants to go bird hunting for his birthday. I'm happy to see him excited about something that doesn't involve a video game=) Not so happy that we will be eating pine grouse in the near future. It just doesn't sound as good as a funnel cake=)

Labor Day fun=)
We had a great day at the parade and park today. The picture above is really blurry but it is Brian dancing with paislee and I thought it was too cute to leave out. I even got Brian to dance with me, as our kids sat in the audience with scowls on their faces. We are officially un-cool. Ha Ha So fun=)
My cute girls. Paislee is the one with a little extra junk in her trunk. haha
