We had a few points left of a time share we bought a couple years ago so I looked and saw they had a bear lake location and set it all up. It turned out to be so fun and even made us think we may want to renew our time share. Its so nice having two bedrooms a kitchen and living room while on small vacations with the kids. It also had a indoor and outdoor pool and even a wading pool for paislee. Not to mention how beautiful Bear Lake is. As were driving into town I kept saying I couldn't believe we had never been here before.
The first night the kids wanted to head straight to the pool so dad took some frustrations out after the 4 hr drive and threw them across the pool a couple times=)
It rained really hard the first night we were there so when we were getting the boat ready brian pulled the drain plug and water came pouring out. The picture above is after probably 5 minutes. When we first pulled it the water just shot out. Luckily the next day the sun was shining so we got up early and headed to the lake. The water is so blue there we had a great time tubing and swimming around the lake. Even me. I actually got in the water. With a life jacket and a close eye on the boat, but I did it. Maybe I’m finally conquering my fear of water=)
Brian was the first one in the water. Paislee wasn't a big fan she was happy to be in the boat surrounded by snacks=)
This is me convincing myself to get in the water. I have to admit once I was in it was really fun. The water was around 70 degrees.
There were a bunch of carp fish at the dock the kids thought it was pretty awesome to see fish that close. After we got back to the condo we decided to venture out and get a shake, some chocolate covered raspberries and some famous Bear Lake Jam. I even found those cute little towel dresses for the girls. I can just hear my friends who can sew (you know who you are) saying you could make that. Well I can’t sew so I buy =) It turned out to be a really fun mini vacation I can’t wait to go back.
