Tentacles!
Ok so I was in albertsons today waiting to buy a pound of hamburger at the meat counter . When I heard the lady in front of us asking about the octopus when she said and I quote "Can you buy just one testicle or do you have to buy the whole octopus?" The lady at the counter just looked at her and said "Sure you can just buy one tentacle." Of course Brian in true Brian fashion whispered to me "No they only come in pairs." If it would have been me I would have cracked up because I was cracking up behind her back. The lady never even batted an eye at calling a tentacle by its wrong name and just went her merry way. Leaving Brian and I laughing as she walked away.

Flash Black Friday
My Sister, My Friend. I thought I would put on some pictures of me and my sissy when we were kids today. We might have fought a lot when we were teenagers (well she fought and I laid there and took the beating) just kidding (kind of)! But we are the best of friends now and I don't know what I would do if I couldn't call her sometimes 3 times a day to talk about nothing. Love ya Tiffy. If you go to my music at the bottom and click on Reba Mcentire "my sister, my friend" while you watch the slide show it makes it a little better :)

Spring Sing
Brady practicing for his spring sing. Make sure you go to the bottom and pause my music. Other wise he is very hard to hear:) I love how he says "the rain falls slowly to and for" instead of to and fro.

Krissa rides a two wheeler.
I was so proud krissa finally rode her bike on two wheels. As she was riding we heard her say. "I can't believe I didn't do this yesterday"

I need size 11 shoes!
I told Brady to get his school shoes on this morning and he kept refusing to wear them and wanted to wear different shoes. After awhile I finally stopped and asked him why. He said I need to find shoes that are size 11 because colton has size 11 and I want to be the same. My shoes are only 8 and his are 11. I tried to tell him that his feet weren't size 11 therefore he doesn't have size 11 shoes. But he kept digging in his closet. We did end up finding some hand me downs that were size 10 and he was OK with that. But he still asked if we could go to the store before school and buy some size 11. (Like we even have a shoe store in this town.) I said no and he said well when you get home put size 11 shoes on your grocery list. He is too funny.

Happy Birthday Grandpa Shawn!!
Getting organized
I found this web site http://orgjunkie.com/ the organizing junkie and it has tips to organize every part of your home. It updates once in awhile and also has a tab that says get organized for tips around the house. Brian says I have a problem with to much organizing but I do seriously love to do it. That may be why Krissa and I are often fighting over who gets to organize the cupboard (mostly because I want it done a certain way). Maybe I am creating a little minnie me monster but I guess there could be worse things I could teach her:)

Paislee's cage
New bikes.

Brian and I bought ourselves new cruisers and a little bike seat for paislee this weekend. Brian's is actually called the moon dog or moon doggy like I like to call it. We tried to ride all the way to snow bunny to get ice cream but we only made it about half way and had to turn around. Brian kept asking the kids if daddy looked like a dork on his cruiser but I thought he looked great.
Sleep walking
I don't know about everyone else but I have 3 out of 5 of the people in our house who walk in their sleep. (Which I find really creepy)Last night I went to check on the kids before going to bed and I found Krissa's mattress almost off the box springs with all her blankets torn off and laying on the ground. Of course she was in the bed sleeping soundly. I moved everything back and began thinking of all the other sleep walking experiences we have had in this house. Lets see Brady and Krissa were sleeping together one night and Krissa woke up just before Brady peed on her head. Yep your right he was asleep. Brian has gone downstairs into the laundry room many times and turned on the light and then realized he was asleep. Not to mention the many times he talks to his employees in his sleep. (Sometimes yelling at them). Needless to say I told Krissa this morning about her bed and she told me she was dreaming that she tore her room and Brady's to shreds. So I guess we are lucky she just worked on her bed. I then told her that I didn't want to hear her cry next time I ask her to make her bed and I didn't want to here it was to hard to move away from the wall. Because I know now she can do it. I mean for heaven's sake she did it in her sleep:)

Give me Luvs
Paislee's new trick is to lay her head on your chest and go awwww if you ask her for luvs. It is just to cute!
Flash Back Friday
These are just a collection of pictures of the kids when they were little.

I love the quote on this one. We tend to think Krissa is a little bossy. But I personally think she is a great leader.

And this one is just funny. Because Krissa really is trying to shut Brady in the hamper, and on the last one I walked in to the kids in a pile of q-tips they were "partners in crime" even when Brady could barely crawl. There were q-tips in the vent all over in the room and of course one in Brady's mouth:)

Finally the bike trail is free of snow!
The majority of the bike trail is free of snow so we decided to go for a little family walk/bike ride. Brady learned to ride his bike without training wheels last year but was still a little scared so Brian bent the train wheels as high as they will go and now they only touch if he is falling. Of course Krissa still has her training wheels planted firmly on the ground with her hands at 10 and 2 going two miles an hour.

Brian running with his dog mowgli.
