Red Butte Garden

Since it was free admission day at Red Butte Garden the kids and I decided to go. It turned out to be a lot of fun and the flowers were beautiful.

Crawdadding in Strawberry.

On Sunday we decided to head out with the Baileys and go crawdadding at strawberry reservoir. It turned out to be a great day we all had a great time.

Brian took Dylan and Brady fishing on deer creek today. As you can see they had a great time.

Oddly enough they caught more fish with Paislee’s Barbie pole than anything. The boys were excited to jump into the water after a hot day.

Brian is teaching Dylan to fillet a fish in this picture. Brandon would be so proud at how good of a uncle Brian is to his son. I know he was looking down today smiling. We sure love Dylan he is a great kid.

Donut Falls

I had heard a couple people talk about donut falls so on Friday morning we woke up and headed to Big Cottonwood Canyon.

This picture is at the start of the hike. Oh yeah that’s right Paislee is rocking some okland safety glasses. =)

The kids had so much fun and it turns out the only one who needed a bandaid was me. I was trying to climb to the top with Brady and well I ended up sliding down a bunch of rock. I quickly jumped up and told everyone the only thing I hurt was my pride. Needless to say we didn’t make it to the very top but it was still so pretty up there.

Its so nice having paislee a little older on these hikes and this hike was perfect. It was just long enough to work up a sweat but short enough for a little 5 year olds legs.

Can’t wait for our next hike…..

Oh how the years go by

Some things never change. Paislee at around 2 and paislee at 5. That little potty has gotten a lot of use on the boat=)

Lagoon

We were excited when Brent called and asked if we wanted to go to lagoon today. Its so nice to just jump in the car and see family.
