A little bling for the dog!

I took Penny to the groomers today and actually it was $10 cheaper here than in Idaho. (Sorry amanda, she asked me not to tell her when things were cheaper=) Anyway she came away with new bows on her ears, a bandanna for her neck, and even a bracelet for her paw. Now I thought the bracelet was going a little to far but krissa thought it was soo cute!

Random pictures of my baby!

And I use the term my baby loosely. Because lately my baby has had a severe daddy's girl complex. He went fishing last sunday so I was the only one here to get here out of her crib when she woke up. Well I walk in hold out my hands she totally ignores me and looks out in the hall yelling "DaDa". What a little stinker. Honestly though it is so sweet how much she loves her daddy. I just think I should get a little props since I did carry her for 9 months all the while throwing up and feeling yucky the entire time. Oh well maybe next week she will be my baby again!

You gotta love these pig tails! I just couldn't get over how cute she was with pig tails.

Thanks Aunt Tiffie

Tiff didn't see Krissa on her birthday so she gave her this belated present. Its a cute little board she made with magnets on it so she can hang her pictures or whatever on it in her room. It was so cute. Krissa and I both loved it. Thanks sis!

Swimming lessons!

The kids finished swimming lessons today and for once it wasn't to painful. (Well except paislee running around screaming most of the time). Krissa didn't even cry this year and she was actually excited to go to lessons. Maybe just maybe she is getting over her fear! I know I was just excited to have swimming lessons cost 23 dollars a kid instead of 40 dollars a kid like I paid last year in Idaho.

Gotta love the goggles!

Krissa actually doing what the teacher tells her to do. Before now she would just sit there and say "I don't want to". I was so proud of her!

The kids got a certificate and some swedish fish. Im pretty sure all they cared about was the swedish fish!

BBQ

of my family up for a barbecue last night it turned out to be a lot of fun. The only ones who weren't there was Shad (Rays son, evidently the fair is funner than a barbecue at my house haha) Jamie (Darins daughter she had to work) Marco (he was at work too) and Jacee (tiffs son because well he is in hawaii lucky boy). It was great to get together we don't do it as often as we should. Thanks for coming guys it was a blast!

Tubing

We went tubing on the Rock port Reservoir yesterday and it was a blast. Even for me the one that can't swim and is afraid of water.

This is as close as krissa got to getting in the tube. She was having nothing to do with getting in the water and being pulled by the boat. My little brave soldier!

Look at me being brave in the tube. I went by myself a couple of times and only fell off once. I do have to say I was a little nervous brian kept telling me to lay back and float. But I still had a small panic attack. And I wonder why Krissa is scared of everything. I have to admit I loved being in the water once I was in. Maybe someday I will take adult swimming lessons.

Brady loved tubing and loved it even more when he got to go by himself. He is the only one that never fell off. He just kept raising is little thumb to tell us to go faster!
Paislee was either helping daddy drive or sitting on the bottom of the boat eating gold fish. Overall she was a little trouper.
Apparently when you drive a boat with a tuber behind you. You shouldn't let slack in the rope and then go fast. I dumped Brian in the water but he is a great swimmer and took it all in stride. He got back in the boat and looked and me and said "Your turn"! He was nice to me though I did go again and he didn't even try anything funny!
Brian swimming to the boat. Sorry babe!

Flash Back Friday

I have always loved this picture of brady! And he has said a few funny things lately that I thought I would add.

We were talking about my dad because we passed a cemetery and the question came about how did he die. I told them how and then explained that he had diabetes. Brady said "We should never eat diabetes then huh mom"

Today we were driving and Krissa claimed she saw a bear. They began to talk about smokey the bear and then Brady said "Mom when dad goes bear hunting tell him that if the bear has pants and a hat on that he shouldn't kill it because it is probably smokey." He is too funny. I think if the bear had pants and a hat on I would be looking for my camera.

Bean bag lounging.

Paislee was carrying around these cups and markers for hours the other night. The only thing that stopped her was the bean bags. She was so cute she would walk around for awhile and then crash on the bean bags with krissa and brady. She already thinks she is one of the big kids.

New Friends

These little boys literally came out of the woods one day. The kids came in and said guess what there are some little boys on our swings. Anyway they are the closest thing we have to neighbors and so far the kids are getting along great. Well other than they sprayed a whole can of sun screen out on the ground!

Grandma Mckowen

We went to see Brian's grandma Mckowen on Saturday. We haven't gotten to see her as much as we would like to because we have been living in Idaho. So since we are back in Utah we decided to go see her. The kids loved visiting with Grandma, as you can see below Grandma is a great bubble blower=)
