Here we go again…

If you haven't already heard. We are moving again. Hopefully for the last time. Brian is being transferred to Utah so were are packing up an moving to Saratoga Springs. We just  found out yesterday our offer was accepted on this house and I’m so excited. It even has the added perk that one of our good friends lives a couple blocks away. (For those of you who know them its Kyle and Melina Bailey). We are all sad to leave our little town in Idaho but we are excited to be closer to family and to start our new adventure. Utah here we come.

Christmas program brought to you by Krissa and Paislee

Krissa called us all upstairs because she and Paislee had put together a Christmas program. Including dancing, piano playing and she even had a speech about how Christmas wasn't about presents. Such a cute girl. I love that she is so creative=)

Thomas Christmas Party

This year at our Thomas Christmas party we had a special guest. Santa! (who looked mysteriously like our friend Cody Rhoades) We had a great party and the kids got a lot of fun things. Including the pillow pets Krissa and Paislee have been asking for. Its always great to get together with family, even though Ray and his kids couldn’t make it.

Krissa's Christmas program

We went to Krissa's Christmas program last night. Its always so fun to see all the kids sing. One reason I love living here is looking at all the kids faces and knowing most of them and their parents by name.

Tonight was Brady's Christmas singing program at school. He was so cute and held this exact face when he wasn't singing. The program was so cute I pretty much find myself holding back tears the whole time I watch them every year. As we were leaving the school I backed up into some snow and hurried to make sure it wasn't a car, when I hear Brady in the back seat say "I'll check for dead bodies". Funny kid.

Santa

It only took 3 years but Paislee finally loves Santa and actually wanted to sit on his lap. She sat right up there and told him everything she wants. Which is a big deal since last year all she could say is no Santa is scary. haha

This is why you shouldnt get in fist fights in highschool...

Brian finally decided to bite the bullet and have his deviated septum fixed and while they were at it they straightened his nose out. His surgery went really well and he has only driven me a little crazy with slight amnesia (I think he asked 3 times what I had for lunch haha). I also had to laugh a little when I was reading the after surgery instructions when they said "do not make any decisions of the legal nature for 24 hrs." haha Thankfully we had some great friends who watched the kids while we were gone and had yummy food ready for us from another friend when we got home. If he will let me I will post a before and after next week.

Baby or Big Girl

Since Paislee tends to suck her thumb every time her little lovey blanket is in her hands we decided to tell her she could only have it in her bed and not carry it around anymore. Yesterday she was having a hard time leaving it in her room so I asked her if she wanted to be a big girl or a baby. She yelled “I want to be a dang dang baby”. haha  At her first Dental visit the dentist asked if she sucked her thumb and she paused and said quietly no. After that day every time I see her suck her thumb I pretend to call the dentist. This really seems to make her angry. haha The other day we were watching Dora the explorer and I told paislee oh you just love Dora don’t you. And she said “No she is an idiot”. I tried not laugh as I told her that was not a nice word=)

We were so lucky to spend our last night in Salt Lake with my sister Tiff’s family at my moms house. My kids were so excited to see their cousins. Tiff has kids all around the same age as mine so they always have a great time when they are together.

Peatross/Mortensen Christmas Party

We had the Peatross/Mortensen Christmas party on Saturday. After it took us 11 hours the Tuesday before to make it to Utah we were ready for some fun with the family. The food was delicious as usual, and we were able to see all the Aunts, Uncles (except Brent we missed you Brent) cousins,Grandma’s and Grandpa. Living out of state can be really hard and its always great to make time to spend with family.

Grandma Terrie put together a cute little ornament craft for the kids. They all had a great time making ornaments for Grandma’s tree and their own. Thanks for putting that together Terrie the kids loved it.
