I just have to brag on Krissa for a minute. She drew this picture of a horse and I had to share. Isn't it great!

She wouldn't wear this outfit and crown for Halloween but now I can't get her to take it off. What a sweet little princess!

One thing I love about Brian is his ability to get down on the ground and play with the kids. He is such a great daddy! (Although I think he secretly gets some joy out of beating the kids with the hulk hands=)

Paislee and her dolls....

Paislee brought all these babies downstairs by herself, and this isn't even all of them. This is just how many she could drag down before I saw what she was doing. When I went to take a picture of them. She said "Leave babies alone". Apparently she thinks under the kitchen table is her dolls new home=)

Happy Adoption Day Krissa

Today is Krissa's adoption day! We got her this book (which by the way I recommend for any adopted child it brought tears to my eyes) and we will have cake later tonight. Oh how I love this little girl. There is a part in the book where the mommy fox talks about how when she waited for her baby she waited years and years and cried when other fox mommies had their babies. But that is was all worth it when "God found us you". We were so lucky to have Krissa come into our lives, the three years we waited for her were really rough but so worth it when God found her for us. We are the luckiest parents in the world!

For those of you wondering how much snow we have..

This snow pile behind Paislee is all the snow Brian has removed from the driveway=)

The only person who likes the snow in our family is...

BrAdY. Why you ask? Because he has gotten it in his head that he is going to earn a Nintendo dsi. Brian told him every time it snowed he would earn $5.00 for doing the side walk. So now when it snows he just sees dollar $ign$=)

This is just my sweet paislee showing her mad singing skills (if you can't understand her she is singing "the best of both worlds") and try not to hear her making one Barbie call the other Barbie a loser. Lets just pretend she doesn't say such things =)

Ice Fishing....

Even though Paislee got the best seat (in the sled being pulled) She cried the whole way out because she wanted to walk. On the way back she had no problem getting in the sled=)

At first we tried using Brian's manual Auger..

Paislee was happy with a no bake cookie and some water.

then some guy on the lake felt bad for us and let us use their power Auger thank goodness or we probably would still be out there trying to drill a hole.

Paislee wasn't very patient but she tried.

Mitchell came for the weekend and fished with us. The kids love when Mitch comes over!

Just a side note: Brady was messing with Brian so he said I'm going to smack you Brady. Brady said "go ahead I don't cao (care) just hit me do what you gotta do" He has the funniest personality=)

Fun with the furniture...

Who would have a known a new ottoman would have provided so much fun for my kids. They have been sitting in it and using it as a fort ever since I brought it home=)

Paislee is trying to sing the miley song "boom, boom clap, boom de clap de clap. Obviously she only knows boom clap. haha

I got this little bed from IKEA for the girls and it turned out to be almost to great of a present. I should have gotten two. I'm constantly watching one or the other of the girls tossing the other ones baby on the ground with a dirty look. Today paislee sat on the bed just like I would (I hope there isn't a weight limit) and got a book and started saying "once upon a time". It was just to cute to not share. To bad that baby will go flying out of her comfortable bed when Krissa gets home =)

Flash Back Friday....Its amazing what a little hair can do for a girl!

This first picture was taken almost exactly a year ago. Isn't it amazing what a year and a little hair does. She is definitely not a baby anymore. sniff sniff

New Years 09

For New Years this year we decided to pack up new years eve and head to a hotel in Boise. We swam in the pool and ate cheesecake from the cheesecake factory and then relaxed in bed until 10 when we all fell asleep. The next day we went shopping and returning a few things. The kids thought it was the best day ever and I was just happy to be in a mall. Brian was pretty happy to be in Cabelas. Happy New Year everyone=)

I know paislee looks like she is about to take a oath. But really I just told her to hold really still (all I had was my camera phone) and this happens to be how she was when I told her that!

The kids thought it was fun hanging out in the dog kennels at Cabelas. I even had a store worker ask me if he could take a picture because he thought it was so funny.

Brady didn't mind at all when I asked him to pose in his new coon skin hat. He even said "you better put that on your blog".
