Happy Birthday Krissa

Krissa turned 10 years old today. I can’t believe my baby is 10. She is the sweetest girl who helps me a ton around the house. She is her own person, she doesn’t do anything she doesn’t want to even if her friends are doing it. She is so patient with her little sister and plays with her all the time. She loves stuffed animals and you can tell when you are in her room. They are everywhere =) We are so lucky we get to be her parents I can’t wait to see what the next 10 years bring I just hope it goes by a little slower. Love ya bissy.

I became a mother 10 years ago today and didn’t even know it. I often wonder what I was doing that day.

She got the cool beads from our friend Melina and her kids, and the cute hair bows and candy from our friends the Rands. She was so excited.

The boys spent most of their time riding the skateboard down the hill. They look a little like dumb and dumber but they had a great time.

Livi came over and played for a little bit today they had so much fun. My mom gave krissa this giant teddy bear. I’m pretty sure it was one of her favorite presents.

She got just about everything Justin Beiber including the Barbie doll, poster, book, cd and dvd. Not to mention the cake.

Lunch with an old friend

I got to meet up with my college roommate Susie today. She lives in Texas now and thanks to Facebook we found each other a few months ago. Her sister happens to live in Saratoga Springs so it worked out that while she was visiting her we got to have lunch together. It was so great to see her it had been almost 14 years I hope it isn't that long until the next time.

We had this guy sitting next to us and Paislee screamed and he looked at me jokingly and said “who's kid is that”. Anyway after that Susie pulled out her camera so we could  get a picture. As her son was taking the picture this guy jumped up and snuck in it. We had no idea because right after he sat down and started eating. Only when we looked to see if it was a good  picture did we notice him. Funny Guy. haha It was seriously hilarious=)

We did manage one with out him.

All the kids had a great time together.

Scout Camp 2011

Brady went on his first scout day camp today. He is so lucky to have a  dad that will take the day off work and go with him. I am so lucky to have a husband that will take a camera and take all these great pictures. Thanks Babe.

They got to make these swords. I’m pretty sure this was one of the highlights for Brady.

and did a little sling shotting. Brady saved his money and bought a sling shot they were selling. I hope he realizes not to shoot it at windows.

A little help from our friends

We are so lucky to have friends like Josh & Amanda and Kyle & Melina. Along with them and our neighbor we got all our sod put down today and it looks so good.

Melina is due to have her baby in 3 weeks but she was a great cheerleader =)

Krissa got together with the neighbor girl and made a teeter totter with some wood they found. I was pleasantly surprised when it actually worked.

Brady wanted to earn some money so I told him to take the garbage (that was full of left over sod) back up the hill to the front of the house.  I could hear him saying things like “stupid hill” and “I can’t feel my fingers anymore”….

but with a little help from Paislee he did finally make it up the hill =)

4th of July

After doing nice pictures I always let the kids do a couple silly ones. Paislee never fails in sticking out her little bum in all the pictures. Gotta love her.
