Vacation Day 3.....Muir Woods National Monument, Stinson Beach

Our day started at Muir Woods National Monument. I have to say it was so beautiful and so worth it. We got there fairly early so we beat most of the traffic but I was still a little nervous on the very windy roads that led to the forest=)
Even though the kids are being silly look past that and look at the background doesn't it look like a painting. Sooo beautiful!
Look how huge the trees are.
Our next stop was stinson beach and was just as beautiful. Although it again had very windy roads with a drop off to the ocean on one side. So I wasn't a fan of that but it was worth the scary drive to get there.
The kids pretty much got out of the truck and never stopped running in the water or building sand castles. Even Paislee finally warmed up to the sand and had a blast.
Can I just say that I love my new camera. Look at this picture below it makes spending the money on a good camera so worth it.
This is where Brian and I spent most of our time on the Beach. It was like heaven=) And look at the temperature. I think this is heaven.

On our way back to the hotel we drove over Golden Gate bridge.

Day 2...Alcatraz and Fishermans Warf

Luckily Amanda offered to watch Paislee this day so we could tour around San Francisco a little more easily. I think she was more excited to go with Amanda anyway so it worked out well. Thanks again Amanda=)
San Francisco

On the ferry headed to Alcatraz..
The view of San Francisco from the ferry.
Alcatraz
The Audio tour at Alcatraz is amazing. Even Brady was really into it.I think we should had one of these rooms with bars into our house in Bellevue =)
I tried to get Brian to sit on the toilet in the cell but he refused. He is a fun hater. haha

We went to fisherman's warf next and ate at the hard rock cafe before we went shopping.
If this hadn't of been $10.00 a person I think I would have done it. It looked really fun.

I had to get a picture of Brian in front of this store that was just for lefty's. There were actually some pretty cool things in there. I would like to say the day ended wonderfully but it wasn't all wonderful. Just after this Brian got a full on Migraine headache and preceded to vomit in the truck, down his leg and into his shoe as I drove the truck over bay bridge. It wasn't pretty. Ha ha But it does make for a good story=)
