Snow Park St. Regis Hotel (almost finished)

Brian had to go to his job today and since we are moving next week I wanted one last tour of the job before the kids and I are in Idaho. That track you see on the hill holds two funicular cars (the only ones in North America) that will take people from the building at the bottom to the one at the top. We were hoping to ride in one before we left but its not quite finished maybe we will have to make a trip down when it is.

Brian was showing us where the valet parking would be and Krissa said "they do Ballet here that's cool". haha The kids noticed the foot prints on the ceiling and were immediately convinced someone had walked on the ceiling. Brian told them they had spider man on the crew=)

An up close of the funicular track. I thought it looked like tracks for a roller coaster. There are steps going right down the middle for maintenance and emergency exit from the funicular car. You can walk them all the way up to the other building but considering they are at a 80 degree angle and the track is over 1000 feet long we chose to stay in the lower building=)

I'm so lucky to have such a hard working hubby and I was proud to see the building he coordinated and orchestrated the construction on from start to finish.

Flash Back (almost in the present)Friday...

This is a picture from 2 years ago at our house in Bellevue. I can't believe in exactly a week I will be pulling into the driveway to live there again. Really when I left Bellevue I was fully prepared to never live there again. I'm really sad to leave family here in Utah. But I'm excited to move into our house again. Because Bellevue still feels like a place we can call home=) Although it is going to be weird to hang up a picture in the exact place it was a year ago. At least I won't have to have Brian complain about nail holes...

Bouncy Cow

I just thought this was hilarious of paislee bouncing around the house on the bouncy cow. I don't know if you can hear it but at one point she stops and tells our dog penny to watch=)

Nervous Habits...

Brady has had this habit lately of chewing on his shirt. (Notice in the picture above his collar is all stretched out from chewing on it.) Anyway the other night he and Brian were sitting in a chair together playing on Brian's computer when Brady looked at him and said (in a dead serious voice) "Can I chew on your shirt". Silly kid we got a good laugh out of this one. And in case your wondering Brian's response he said "no you can't chew on my shirt are you kidding me".

On another subject can I just say Brady hasn't played video games in over 3 weeks. Around 3 weeks ago he was begging to sleep in our room. I told him he could sleep in our bed with us for one night if I could pack the video games away until we arrived in Bellevue. Surprisingly enough he agreed. I think out of all the family he is the most excited to move. I wonder why...

Lately he has been very worried about Brian and I dying. I know not something you want to hear from your child. I'm like do you know something I don't know. Anyway he told me the other day it would be OK when he went to heaven because he could eat whatever he wants and play video games all day and not get fat=)

Our little linus

Paislee was walking around this morning with her lovey on her head and thumb in her mouth. Her nickname lately is Linus (like the kid on charlie brown). Even when we are just running to the store I tell her leave the lovey at home so we don't lose it. She gets a really sad look on her face and says "no take lovey with you". So of course the lovey comes with us. (I bought a spare just in case it does come up missing)

Lately Paislee has turned into quite the chatter box. I went down stairs for something and I hear her say "Mom what doing down stairs". I swear it was overnight and she's putting sentences together. I also heard her trying to get off my bed and she was telling Brady. "Help me Brady I fall". Then I heard her tell Krissa "watch toons, watch pung bob care pants" (spong bob sqare pants) She also has her daddy wrapped around her little finger. When its time for bed. He will say OK paislee lets go lay down. She says "no snuggle with you for minute" It gets him every time. I love my baby and it is sad that she is a toddler going potty and talking in sentences. I need to move closer to my sisters new baby instead of farther away. I asked Brian if he would reverse his vasectomy. He said flat out "NO". I didn't expect anything different. Really our family is complete is just hard to see my baby growing up=) I just hope she isn't sucking her thumb and carrying that blanket to kindergarten!

We went to St George this weekend to see new baby Ava and the rest of Tiff's family. We had a great time even though we felt a little like we were melting=) I was so mad we got about half way to St. George and I realized I had forgotten my camera so all the pictures below came from my cell phone. I stole the top two from tiff=)

We took all of our kids and Tiff and Marco's to the pool on Friday it was a blast we only got a little sun burned.

The place we were staying had 2 adult pools, 2 kiddie pools, and 2 play grounds the kids were in heaven=)

We were so glad we got to make the trip to St. George one more time before the big move back to Idaho. Only a couple more weeks and we will be 9 hours from St. George again=(

For the first time in their lives....

For the first time in their lives my kids were told "you passed this level of swimming lessons."HALLELUJAH. I was starting to think they would never swim. But I actually even saw the teacher ask Krissa to demonstrate how to do things for the rest of the class. Way to go guys Mom is so proud of you! Now if mom could just learn to swim...

Paislee spent most of her time climbing on chairs and eating fruit snacks=)

We got to go to Orem today to have lunch with Brian's side of the family. It turned out really nice. We had great time eating and playing at the park=)

Grandma Terrie got a new puppy delivered by Brians brother. Of course she didn't want to leave it in the hot car. So she smuggled it in the restaurant in her purse. Luckily it was a good puppy and slept the whole time=)

Isn't this the cutest puppy. Its a miniature Shih Tzu so it will grow to only around 5 lbs.

Aunt Bethany was a trooper and even got up with the kids to play red light green light!
