Since both the girls hair is getting longer, I thought I would try and do something cute that matched. I can't believe I got paislee to sit still through it. (It helps to let her brush her teeth and play with the squirt bottle). For now Krissa loves it when their hair is alike. Give her a few more years and she won't even want her to wear the same color as her.

8 Years ago today...
8 years ago today our little girl was born and we didn't even know it=) The picture above is the only one I have until the one below. I often wonder what I was doing on that day. Not even knowing that my future daughter was being born. Through the miracle of adoption and a little help from above 4 months later she made it to our house.Pictures of me and Krissa. Then and now.

We love Krissa so much and every time I look at her I'm reminded things happen for a reason. She is with us for a reason and we are so happy she is. Here are just a few reason's why I love her.-We can't eat a meal without our napkins decorated with our names and a special picture!
-When I ask her to organize something, her eyes light up. (I think I have created an organizing monster. We often argue who gets to organize a cupboard)
-She is very stubborn but most of the time her sticking to her guns is the right thing to do.
-She loves her brother and sister. She and Brady can fight like cats and dogs. But being 14 months apart they can play and laugh with the best of them. She and Paislee are fast friends. She is always helping me get her dressed or putting her in the perfect dress up dress.
-She is very giving. She even made us presents to exchange when we give her the presents we bought for her birthday. What a sweet heart.
-She loves to read. I'm always cleaning books out of the crevices of her bed.
-She loves to cook with me. I hope this lasts. So far she loves it.
-She is such a girlie girl. She is constantly dressing up or putting pretend make up on and loves to go clothes shopping.
-She comes up with the funniest things. Sometimes her sense of humor reminds me how much she is like her daddy=)
We love you Bissy! I hope you have the best birthday!
The cruiser bike she got for her birthday. She has more coming but won't open them until daddy gets home=)
Her flower cake. She told me she just wanted a pink flower with chocolate behind it=)
Grandma Ann always sends the funniest cards. (you can click on them to see them bigger)She cuts old pictures up and puts them on the card. The kids always love to see these come in the mail. I do to. Thanks mom
I had to laugh at this last one. She put a picture of her self on top of our house in Idaho and wrote "I know your moving far away but I will always find you" You will also notice the sticker of the dog she added that looks just like our dog sammy. haha
Krissa and Paislee picking flowers for the center piece of the table. She said "if I'm having a flower cake I should have flowers to match". I'm telling you this girl is going to be an interior decorator or something=)

I let my kids eat whatever they want for breakfast lunch and dinner on their big day. Krissa picked this extremely sugary cereal for breakfast and in the picture below you see for lunch she chose a candy bar, strawberries and coke. She is planning a trip to Granny's drive in for a shake for dinner. I wondered how long it would take them to figure out that "eat anything for your meals". Meant anything. I think Krissa finally caught on. haha

Stitches
I finally got Brady in to get his birth mark removed. He did so good during the procedure. He just laid there and didn't move. They told him not to get it wet for a few days and then when we were walking out the sprinklers were on. Brady walked clear around everything because he didn't want to get it wet. And he was really excited to skip a shower for 2 days. haha
Before
The battle scar. I asked if they could make it look like he was in a knife fight. But they just laughed at me=)
When your a mom you can't even go to the bathroom by yourself...
I was washing my hands and I hear this little voice say "mom what doing". I look down and see paislee's cute little hand. So of course I grab a camera and play with her so she will stick her hand under again. I just thought it was too cute.

4th of July at Strawberry Reservoir
We went camping this weekend at Strawberry Reservoir with Brian's brother Brent and his family, JR O'Neil (a friend from Brian's work) and his family, and JR's brother and his family. We spent the weekend boating, fishing for crawdads and fish and just relaxing. We all had a blast and can't wait until the next camp out.
That's right people, that's me in the tube with Brady. I toughed it out even though the water was only 62 degrees. It was like someone throwing a cup of ice water at you. But it was still really fun! Even though I had to hold Brady's little hands down so he would stop making the sign to go faster. Slow was fine with me=)
I asked Paislee if she wanted to take a nap and she said yes. I laid her down and she went right to sleep. I don't think she has ever agreed to a nap before=)
Got love that cute face=)
Brady tubing=)
