Shad's basketball game!

We got to go watch my nephew shad play basketball tonight. He is only a sophomore and starts varsity. Tonight he never got taken out once and scored 16 points. Thankfully he didn't get any of my coordination. It was a great game and his team won! Good Job Shad we love you!

We were lucky that shad lives in the same town as Brian's parents so I got to see them and both my brothers!

The Hunger Games

If you liked twilight you will love the hunger games. I read it in two days. It was exciting and kept you the edge of your seat. And there are going to be 2 more books. Go buy this book and waste a couple days doing nothing else. As for me I'm back to cleaning my house and doing laundry because it has been severely neglected.

Do you want to win a hat for your little girl?

Do you like this hat?
Go to http://angelasaccessories.blogspot.com/ to try and win one. I have a couple of these for Paislee and Krissa and they are so cute. Tell them I sent you!

I think the snow plow has something against my mail box..

Last time my mail box got hit it just knocked the actual mail box off. This time it took the mailbox and the whole front of the pole with it. I wonder if they are trying to hit it?=) I always say that Brian can fix anything. I think this will be a test of that.

Family

Since we weren't able to get together for a Christmas party on my side of the family we finally managed to get together for at least a family dinner. We were missing Jamie and Jacee but they were there in spirit I'm sure. It seems the teens don't want to spend time with us anymore=)

Brooklyn and Paislee (paislee is almost 2 and Brooklyn is 3, but they weigh the same and wear the same size in clothes=)

All the family and our honorary guest Cody. Its not a party unless Cody is there=)

One Word

I stole this from Carries blog. I thought it would be interesting to see..

I'm curious how people would describe me in one word.Leave me a comment...and it can't be the same "word" that someone else used! Also, if it's going to be a mean word (which I can handle) make sure and do it anonymously :)
Hope you don't mind I stole this Carrie=)

Before and After

Due to an error in judgment while trimming his facial hair. Brian was forced to shave it all off. I told him he looked younger. He said "yeah every time a guy at work shaves his facial hair off I ask him all day where his daddy is. I'm sure I'm going to get it tomorrow" I have to admit it is extremely weird kissing a guy with no facial hair when I'm not used to it. But I will suffer through=)

PrIvAcY tAlK !

Krissa had her little friend Brooklyn over to play today. I went in to take a picture and krissa said "Mom we are trying to have a privacy talk". If only I could have been a fly on the wall to hear what this privacy talk was about.

Paislee 20 months old

Since I have moved away from my friends in Bellevue. Who were great photographers. I have seriously been slacking in the picture taking for paislee. So today we visited what I lovingly call Kiddie Kandid Hell to get some recent pictures done. They turned out pretty good but not as good as what my friends could have done. I will be visiting Idaho this summer to get her 2 year pictures done=)

Brady's first pheasant hunt!

First things first. Apparently you should have some of these chaps to pheasant hunt in so you don't get stickers in your legs or get wet. So what does my hubby do. He couldn't find any in Brady's size so he took his adult size pair, cut them down to the right size and then sewed them back up. What a great dad!
Brady all dressed for the big hunt!
First checking his gun for safety and then dragging it through the snow. Don't worry it was just a BB gun but he did get to finish off the pheasant with it.
Doesn't' Mowgli look like he is having a blast.
The proud hunter!

Flash Back Friday..Adoption Day Edition..

Here are some pictures of Krissa's day in court. We were so happy that family and friends could be with us. If you notice in the top picture Krissa is holding a stuffed bunny. It was so cute during court the judge came down from the bench and gave it to her and told her to be happy with her new family=)

This is hilarious

This is just plain funny you have to check it out!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U8Ev5HgGACg

That was fast..

Brady lost his first tooth this morning. Yesterday he came home from school saying his tooth was loose from eating a hard candy at school. This morning he woke us up at 5 a.m. to tell us the tooth fell out in his mouth. This may not seem fast to some people. But Krissa would go 6-9 months with a loose tooth before it fell out. Because she won't let anyone look at it let alone touch it. Its amazing how different kids can be! I think Brian was a little disappointed he didn't get to pull it=)

So long diapers!

See this empty diaper box. Yep that means we are done with diapers for good. (Or until Brian and I need them in old age, but hey that will be the kids problem right=) Of course she still uses pull ups for naps and bedtime but during the day Paislee tells us when she has to go and has been accident free for a couple weeks. Yeah for us!
Look at that cute tushy with big girl panties and one giant snuggie!

Happy Adoption Day Krissa

Every year we celebrate the day Krissa was officially adopted, and every year we watch Brady crumble to tears because he doesn't have an adoption day=) This year Krissa wanted to go to build a bear and pick out a stuffed dog to celebrate. We love you so much Krissa you will probably never fathom how we prayed for you before you were placed in our home. Or the loud eeek I let out when the case worker called me to tell me she had a 4 month old little baby that needed a home. Now that you are almost 8 I still feel like eeking every morning because you are OURS! We feel like the luckiest parents in the world!

But still miraculously my own. Never forget for a single minute,
You didn't grow under my heart, But in it.

Fun In a box and under a easel=)

Krissa cut this box up for a house for her and Paislee. Paislee will usually do anything the big kids are doing=)
Brady and I were playing hide and seek and I realized I hadn't seen paislee in awhile. I found her under Krissa's art easel playing littlest pet shop all by herself. It was too cute=)
