St. George

The kids and I were finally able to make it down to St. George this week. We had a great time eating, shopping and hanging out at the hotel pool. Time went way to fast. And even though it was an average of 105 degrees down there I can’t wait to go back. Thanks for entertaining us sissy.

Splash Park.

All of the kids minus the baby in the pool. It was funny we walked into the pool area at the hotel that had a few people in it. As soon as they saw us and all our kids everyone scattered. I'm pretty sure I would scatter to if I saw this bunch of kids.

Its so fun for the kids to hang out with their cousins. They all get along so well it makes it relaxing for me to. Plus I get to hang out with my sister and that is a big plus.

I just had to document Jacee and Nathan getting along. Look quick because it wont last long =)

Basketball Camp

First I have to explain this card Brady made me for my birthday. My friend had gotten me a card that had a bunch of bees saying boo on the front and Brady thought it was sooo funny he had to make his own version.  You got to love that they have boobies and other appendages, and the one person with boobies and a mustache has a knife going through its head. My boy always has me laughing=)

Now on to basketball camp….

I was really impressed with this camp. They had thoughts of the day just like the one above every day of camp. Not to mention they had guest speakers (college b-ball players) who came in to tell them that they need to get out and play sports and not play video games all day.

He had a great time and has actually been out playing basketball every day since. The only thing he didn’t like was one of the sponsors on the shirt they gave them happened to be the dentist office that was mean to him. He said “man why do they have to be on my shirt”. haha

Welcome to the world Colton Cody Defa. Born May 20th 8 lbs 4 oz. I haven't met him in person but I love him already. Congrats Tiff and Marco.

Happy Birthday Paislee

I can’t believe my baby is 4 years old. Where did the time go? She has grown into a funny, smart, and beautiful little girl. She keeps us laughing constantly. She got to have her friends Kade and Kinzie come over for pizza and cake, and she got to go to lunch with her Grandma Ann the day before. We are so lucky to have her in our lives.

Happy Mothers Day

I'm so lucky to have great kids that made me breakfast in bed (with help from dad), and got me some homemade presents and some not so homemade (with help from dad). I’m also so lucky to have a mom and a mom-in-law that have been great mothers to us and would do anything for us. Happy Mothers Day.

Paislee’s Preschool Mothers Day performance.

I got to go to Paislee’s preschool today and watch her sing songs and get this cute hand print from her. The teacher had asked each of the kids questions about their mom and then she wrote down exactly what they said.

How old is your mom? Paislee said 5.

If your mom could go anywhere where would it be? Paislee said the gas station. Which might be true. I do love chocolate and Pepsi.

When does your mom look the prettiest? Paislee said when she is at school. Which may also be true because I dress a little better when I take her to school because I’m actually going to see people. haha

On a side note here are some funny things Paislee has said recently..

She didnt want to go to church. I asked why and she said "because all they say is holy ghost this and holy ghost that."

As we were sitting down to eat cupcakes at a new cupcake place. Paislee took one bite and said "This is damn good" haha
