Birthday Celebration at School

Since Paislee’s birthday falls on a Sunday I took treats to her school today. She was so excited to wear her cupcake dress with a ribbon that says birthday girl. I almost cried when the teacher pulled out her guitar and the whole class sang her happy birthday. They then chose 5 people to say their favorite thing about paislee. Some of them were that she is a good friend, that she plays with me, that she is a good listener, and one said she dresses stylish=). Her teacher said she really like paislee because she is a good writer and takes her time and is very nice. We then went out to the playground and Paislee handed out her treats. I thought it was so cute one little girl gave her a big hug. I love my sweet girl and I’m having a hard time with her turning 6. Where did the time go?

They say the funniest things

I was telling Brady to write his teacher a note for teacher appreciation. He said so I write thanks for being a good teacher. Ps. My mom made me write this.

Paislee is our neighborhood wear your helmet police. I heard her tell her friend to get her helmet on. Her friend said I don't need a helmet. Paislee said do you want a smashed head? Then I suggest you wear a helmet.

Paislee came home and said "my teacher threw up in the garbage can today. But she has a baby in her belly so it's not contagious "

As paislee was finally trying her bike again she said "look mom I'm riding and not complaining,I wonder how octopus's grab things,do you think if a sea horse ripped its tail off it would grow back ? Because it did in a show I watched. Your right mom I watch to much tv." She is too funny.

Mothers Day

I woke up and the kids had decorated my doorway and the livingroom. They even wrote why they loved me on balloons. Krissa said “I love you because you keep our house clean.” Brady said “I love you because your pretty”. They all made me a card and Krissa made me some earrings.

They also got some flowers to put in my mail box flower box.

We had dinner at my moms, Krissa and Paislee made the appetizer and the dessert.

Rock the Juke Box

Our kids were in a musical for their elementary school on Friday. It turned out so cute. And I definitely got some good video to show  their future dates when they are older =)

Theater

Paislee and Krissa had worked all year in a theater group and last Saturday was their performance of “Brave”. My mom gave them cookies (brady got one because grandma didn’t want to leave him out). We were so excited to see the play and I had tears in my eyes every time one of my girls had a part. I was so proud of them learning lines and dances. They did a perfect job and I can’t wait to put them back in the program next year. They were so excited to get trophies and the flowers we got them.
