Christmas program

The kids had their Christmas program at their school today. I have to say I was a little sad because they were all in it. That means my kids are getting older. Paislee goes to preschool at the kids elementary so she was in the program too. I think krissa found every piece of red clothing she had to wear. =) They all did a great job although I did miss the small town Christmas program we used to have in Bellevue.

Krissa’s 5th grade class. There are actually 3 more classes about the same size that are 5th graders too. This is about the only time I actually saw krissa once everyone filled the stairs I could only see her hat.

Brady happened to be placed right in front of me. He spent the whole time looking at me and posing. haha

My Before and After Christmas Gift

I have always loved my wedding ring (above). But I always wished it was silver. Also I had used the half of my moms wedding ring as my ring Brian put on when we got married and I was unable to have it soldered  to my original ring due to the shape. So this year for Christmas Brian and I went and upgraded my ring  to one that would be able to be soldered to my original wedding ring. We also had the original ring turned to silver so it would match. I love the final product (below). I will miss my original ring but I am happy that  the rings are finally soldered together. My hubby scored some major Christmas points this year.

Brian and Brady were going pheasant hunting today so I thought I would tag along and get some pictures.

Peatross Kids Cafe

Brian and I went to a movie this afternoon when we came home we found this…

They were pretending they got injured while we were gone =)

Then they had another surprise they were making us dinner.

Grandpa showed up right at dinner time so they quickly got him a place to sit. Brian and Shawn ordered Grilled ham and cheese. I went with the macaroni and cheese and apples.

As you can see Krissa was a little stressed cooking all of it. Brady helped but Krissa was the cook. It turned out pretty good. I thought they were so cute to think of all of this while we were gone. Gotta love em.

Peatross/Mortensen Christmas Party

Since Terrie is in a rehab place in Provo we decided to have the Christmas party at our house this year so we could go see her after. We all had a great time. The food was good and so was the company.

Brady got a robe and a lot of wrestling things like figurines and Uncle Brent got him a 3 disc set of wrestling dvds.

The next day we put together ginger bread houses and then Shawn took them to the rehab place Terrie is at so the nurses could put them on their desk.

All things considered we had a great time. We just wish Terrie and Brandon could have been there.
