Sad goodbye
This was Sammy when we brought her home in Sept. of 1998.
This is sammy now over 14 years later.
After being here when we got married, living in 6 houses (everywhere Brian and I have lived together), going through 7 moves in two different states, and watching all our kids come home from the hospital. We had to send Sammy home today. She was just getting worse every week with glaucoma, arthritis and everything else a 14 year old dog could have. She has truly been a great dog and we will miss her dearly.
RAINBOW BRIDGE
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies who has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; his eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Brady’s 10th Birthday
The cake
The Door decoration and yes it did work the balloons fell on him and then he had to bust his way out. He loved it. The Breakfast he wanted a cinnamon roll, cinnamon bears and a Pepsi. Which is better than his first choice a bag of cinnamon bears and a Pepsi=)
The last year he can use his fingers to show me how old he is… sniff sniff
He had his best friend Jackson over to play and have cake and pizza with us.
Just a little excited for his one and only present from us…a Ipod.
We love our boy so much. He keeps us constantly laughing. Yet he has the sweetest little soul. I think brady makes friends where ever he goes. I cant wait to see what the next 10 years brings for him. Love you buddy.

Funny kids
Krissa carrying poor chewy in the sleeping bag.
Brady saw this at sportmans and had to have it. I admit its pretty funny.
Paislee had me stand in front of her while she drew a picture of me. I love how I turned out=)
Funny things they say…
On paislees first day of school I asked how it went. She said well it went good except one little misunderstanding. I love how she knows how to use these big words.
The next day I was quizzing her and asking who she played with and what she did. She looked at me and said can I please just enjoy my lunch.
When paislee was staying with my mom. My mom told her that they could have grilled cheese and cottage cheese for dinner. Paislee said Anything with cheese and I’m good. =)
We went on a family walk and paislee asked for some water. After she took a drink she said “wow that’s really refreshing.”
Paislee told me she got a snuggie at school. I asked what she did and she said I went to the back pack area and picked it.
Paislee said I wish college was after preschool. I said but then you would have to move. She said your right and then I would have to buy my own bubble gum toothpaste. :)
I was telling Paislee she needed to learn how to ride a bike. I said maybe we should take sweets away until you can learn. She said no I cant live without candy.
Krissa slept in the same bed with my mom when my had them. My mom said she woke up in the middle of the night to find krissa fluffing my moms hair and saying squirrel. Apparently she talks in her sleep like her dad.
When we went to the ward party krissa and I were watching a neighbor girl who is like 9. She was swinging her younger brother who is like 1 around by one leg and practically dropping him. Krissa leaned in to me and sarcastically said “man she is really good with kids”.

Doll Cradles
The girls found a cute cradle online that they wanted and brian had said he could build one. So today they took him up on it. The girls actually helped a lot by nailing, screwing, stenciling, and painting. I think they all had a good time and the finished product was so cute.
