Brady and Brian Duck Hunting

While me and the girls went to Tabby to visit my family Brady and Brian went duck hunting.

Okland Luau

Brian's company had party a couple weeks ago. They did a luau complete with dancers and Hawaiian food. It was so much fun and it may be as close as I get to Hawaii.

Brady got to see his friend Colton that he was really good friends with in Idaho. They quickly got reacquainted and were playing all night.

Grandma Mckowen’s 80th Birthday party.

Brian’s Grandma Pearl turned 80 last week so we went to Altamont to celebrate with the rest of the family. It was so good to see her. She reminds me so much of Brian’s that it made me a little sad. But it was so good to see family and spend time with Pearl. We love her.

Mt Timpanogos Hike 2013

Yesterday I got to hike up to 12000 ft with these great ladies. It was the hardest and best thing I've done in a while. 14 miles round trip was hard but worth it. Mt Timpanogos is so beautiful and the views are amazing. When I got the very top I couldn’t believe I made it. I’m so scared of heights and believe me I’m still scared. Some of the parts I felt like you needed to be part mountain goat.

We met this guy on the trail he is 71 years old and walks this trail 4 times a weeks. He runs the register at the top of the mountain. So crazy.

Its crazy to think there was a toilet out there.

This part of the trail was by far the scariest. I was so afraid I had to just stare right at my feet.

We saw these mountain goats. They are the white specks.

It was crazy to see this plane fly right over our heads.

We could see deer creek, heber, all of utah county, and the great salt lake.

These next two pictures I stole off a blog it shows the last mile of the hike and what it looks like. Because at this point in the hike I was more scared of living than taking pictures.
