Easter Weekend

To start Easter weekend off Brian took the boat out for the first time this year. They got one really good bite but nothing else. He was still just happy to get out. Then Krissa and our neighbor girl Sophie put together a egg hunt for the neighbor kids and some games.

We dyed Easter eggs which happened to be right when the ice-cream truck came by. So needless to say it ended up being Brian, Paislee and I doing the eggs while the other kids chased the ice-cream man down.

We went to lunch with Brian’s brother Brent and his wife Bethany. Its always great to get together with these guys. We ended up at the park after having ice-cream while Brent demonstrated wrestling moves on Brady. Brian said he had flash backs to his childhood when Brent would say hey Brian come here I want to try this new move on you. haha

Brian and I went to a movie and when we got home we saw the kids had made cupcakes for the Easter Bunny.

Pinewood Derby

Tonight was Brady’s first and last Pinewood Derby. He hasn’t done it before because we were either moving during past derby’s or going to funerals. Sad huh.

They had an awesome set up I was impressed.

I had to laugh when Brady named his car Butter. As you can see there was bone crusher, dark knight etc and Butter. He thought the gold was the color of  butter.

He won 3rd in his webelos group (but only 3 webelos showed up haha)

The Beach house and the Beach

We spent our last two nights at the is beautiful beach house. It was a little foggy but the the fog lifted one afternoon so we could soak in some sun on the beach. This was by far my favorite part of the trip.

We had to take this big steep staircase to the beach but it was a private beach and sooo worth the walk.

The whole family love them all.
