School Christmas Program

The kids had their annual school Christmas program the other day. Krissa’s class was especially great they sang jingle bell rock and danced to it. Even the teachers were really into it. It makes me sad that this is her last elementary program.

The kids and I made sugar cookies this afternoon. I was really surprised at how good they were.

Yearbook cover winner.

Krissa entered a contest to draw the cover for her schools yearbook. She came home on friday saying she had won first place. We are so proud of her she is really a great artist. Congrats.

Peatross/Mortensen Christmas Party

Last weekend we had our annual Peatross/Mortensen Christmas party. We had a good time but we missed Brandon and Terrie. Last time we had a party in Duchesne they were both there. So this year was tough. Grandma Nancy gave us all ornaments with Terries picture and a poem on it. We loved it.

The whole gang. I was so glad we took the picture outside. It was much nicer out there. Which made for a much nicer picture.

Pheasant hunting.

Brian bought me a shot gun so we went out today to give it a try. We tried shooting clay pigeons first and I was horrible at it. So I was glad when I was able to shoot my first pheasant. It was actually pretty fun. Brady and Paislee went with us. Paislee spent most of her time in the truck. When she was walking she told Brian “I hope you know I’m just doing this for you.”

Reflections Winner

Krissa found out the other day that she won with her 3D entry for reflections. We are so proud of her!

All the winners. They had 150 entries for the school this year. So they should all be proud that they won.

First lost tooth

Paislee was so excited to finally have a lose tooth. So yesterday she was eating apples and wiggling it like crazy. When Brian came home she asked for it to be pulled because she was so excited to have the tooth fairy come. Brian ended up using the pliers to pull it and paislee didn’t even cry. I wanted to cry just knowing my baby is growing up. =(
