View from my rear view.

My friend carrie did this on her blog and challenged me too. So here you go. It is harder than you think to take a picture of your rear view without getting a picture of your camera. And don't worry we were parked thats why brady wasn't buckled.
So now I tag anyone who is up to the challenge!

Elmo and Crazy

Krissa has slept with this elmo since she was a year old and this crazy doll since she was two. How did she get the name crazy you ask? Her Grandma Ann gave her this doll and was playing a game where she chased krissa around with it and said she's gonna go crazy, crazy, crazy. After that her name was crazy. When ever we go some where over night we have to have elmo and crazy with us. We get in the car and say Dad, Mom, check. Krissa, Brady, Paislee check. Elmo, Crazy check. We have left home without them before and it was pretty traumatic. I will be sad when she doesn't need them.

Paislee loves her lovey

Paislee got this little lovey blanket from Jeni and she loves it. I started putting it by her face when she was just tiny and now I put her binkie in her mouth and the blankie by her face and her eyes just roll back like oh yeah. It is so cute. Thanks Jeni!

And she's off

Look out world. Paislee finally figured out the forward crawl.

The best day ever!

Its crazy what a box can do. We bought a freezer so I had brian bring the box in and the kids made a fort out of it. I heard them talking and Krissa was telling brady. "This is the best day ever." Not christmas presents, not birthday presents. A box.

Sisters

I just thought this was a cute picture of the girls. How am I ever going to control paislee's crazy hair when and if it finally grows. She looks like a little dandelion.

I think my baby is part piggy!

I gave paislee a serving this big of spaghetti (what you see above). She preceded to eat this and then want more so I gave her another serving the same size which she wolfed down. All this without one tooth. I guess where theres a will theres a way:)

Just for fun!

I just thought it was funny that Krissa was trying to comb Paislee's hair in these pictures and that Paislee left this crown on when Krissa put it on her. Also there is video and pictures of Paislee with her favorite little giraffe. In the video she dumped out all her toys to find it. She is growing way to fast.

I've been tagged

I kind of got tagged by kristen to do this. But I thought it was fun so here goes.

Things About My Husband
What is his name- Caleb Brian Peatross
How long have you been together- Married for almost 10years, together for almost 11
How long did you date- We dated for almost 6 months before we got engaged and then we were engaged for 6 months
How old is he- Just turned 31
Who eats more- Generally he does, I could probably meet a good match depending on what it was though.
Who said "I Love You" first- I did and uncomfortably enough he told me a couple days after that:)
Who's taller- He is by 8 inches
Who can sing better- I would say I do, but technically I haven't heard him really ever try to sing other than when he is playing with the kids
Who is smarter- Depends on what it is. If its Math, Brian is definitely smarter, if its English that would be my department.
Who does the laundry- I do, but Brian will switch it over from the washer to the dryer sometimes . He magically ruined a load when we first got married i still think he did it on purpose so he wouldn't have to do laundry.
Who pays the bills- most of the time me. Sometimes together
Who sleeps on the right side- If you are standing there looking at it, Brian does, if you are laying in bed that would be my side. So I guess it depends on how you look at it =)
Who mows the lawn- Most of the time me just because I like the excercise. But he usually does the back yard (there are to many tramps and things to move around)
Who cooks dinner- Me, But Brian does make a mean chicken and dumplings and navajo tacos Who drives- Brian does.
Who is more stubborn- We can both be pretty stubborn,
Who kissed who first- If you want the first kiss story we were on our first date. Brian stopped in front of my house to drop me off and said "So am I going to get a kiss or what" so romantic. It did work though.
Who asked who out first- Brian did
Who proposed- Now that is something Brian did =)
Who has more friends-Probably about equal. Brian is more sociable than me when he meets new people. I tend to hang back and then speak my mind to much later
Who is more sensitive- Me
Who has more siblings- Same. He has 4 brothers. I have 3 brothers and a sister.
Who wears the pants- Depends on what we are wearing the pants about.
I tag anyone who wants to do it. How's that for a tagging =)

Snow Day

Just so you know it takes a lot for the schools to call a snow day in Bellevue. When brian cleaned the drive way yesterday afternoon there was 7 inches of snow. He did the driveway again this morning and there was another foot. Lets just say we have a lot of snow.

and just for comparison our house in the summer.

Happy Adoption Day

It was 5 years ago today that krissa offically became a peatross. We got her a couple books about adoption and I made her a cake. What did we ever do without her!
I didn't give you the gift of life, but in my heart I know; the love I feel is deep and real as if it had been so. For us to have each other is like a dream come true. No, I didn't give you the gift of life. Life gave me the gift of you! Unknown Author

Some pictures from when Brian was a kid.

Brian and his little brother mitchell in the soap
box derby car brian built.

Brian says he remembers his Grandpa larry telling them to go ahead and touch the mountain lion and that Brandon is the only one who would.

Christmas morning when all the boys got bikes.

One of Brians birthdays.

You got to love the 80's shirt.

Christmas morning Brian is the one on the far right.

Penguin Pete

Krissa's whole class gets to take home this stuffed penguin. Along with a book about penguin pete and a journal for them to write what they did with penguin pete. Krissa was so cute she wanted me to hide him so they could play hide and seek and she played candy land with him. It was a pretty cute idea. Of course there has been lice going around school and Brian had to ruin a fun thing by saying. That little penguin is probably what is spreading lice around. After a good laugh I quickly inspected pete to make sure he was lice free:)
