Donut Falls

I had heard a couple people talk about donut falls so on Friday morning we woke up and headed to Big Cottonwood Canyon.

The kids had so much fun and it turns out the only one who needed a bandaid was me. I was trying to climb to the top with Brady and well I ended up sliding down a bunch of rock. I quickly jumped up and told everyone the only thing I hurt was my pride. Needless to say we didn’t make it to the very top but it was still so pretty up there.

Its so nice having paislee a little older on these hikes and this hike was perfect. It was just long enough to work up a sweat but short enough for a little 5 year olds legs.

Can’t wait for our next hike…..

Oh how the years go by

Some things never change. Paislee at around 2 and paislee at 5. That little potty has gotten a lot of use on the boat=)

We were excited when Brent called and asked if we wanted to go to lagoon today. Its so nice to just jump in the car and see family.

Happy Birthday Krissa

We love our sweet Krissa so much.  She is so creative and thoughtful. She is a great big sister… most of the time. But hey she’s human right. She helps so much around the house and is constantly creating something with crafts. We are so lucky we get to raise her and we are so thankful to have her in our family.

She requested cinnamon rolls, orange julius and a hershey bar for breakfast. We then went to the movies to see the new ice age and then shopping.

Boating

We had a great time fishing starvation reservoir and even caught a couple fish. The weather was perfect and the water was like glass. These are the times I’m so glad we have a boat.

This kid falls asleep almost immediately when she gets in a vehicle. =)

Fun with the Rands

Amanda called last week and wanted to know if Brady would want to go and catch crawdads with Bridger. Of course Brady was all over that. He had so much fun and even brought some home for dinner.

We decided since Tuesday is a cheaper day at Cowabunga Bay we would take the kids. Especially since in a few short weeks the Rands will be residents of Hawaii.

I’m so sad they are moving because #1 Amanda is one of my best friends and #2 our kids get a long so well. We spent 4 hours at the water park with no fights or arguments between anyone. We will definitely miss them when they go to Hawaii. I guess I just need to start saving money for a vacation there.
