Gateway discovery center

While Tiff was in town mom, her and I took the kids to gateway mall and my mom was nice enough to treat us to the discovery center. They have things for little kids to big kids and the kids all had a blast. And of course at the end of shopping we had to stop at the water fountain to let the kids play. I hope this warm weather sticks around=) Sorry the pictures aren't the best I only had my camera phone.

Family Party

Since Tiff came to Salt Lake this week for her last trip before her little girl arrives. We thought we should all get together for a dinner. When I say we thought. I mean mom called and told me we were having a party at my house. It was really good to see everyone and I did get a picture of Tiff but she threatened me if I posted it and frankly I'm still a little afraid of her=)

Krissa mad these little party favors for everyone to take and even made a tray for them to sit in that said "take one only". Some of the notes were pictures. Some of them just said "thanks for coming to are party". I swear she is going to be a party planner or something when she grows up.
Paislee 2 and Brooklyn almost 4. Yet Paislee wears a bigger size in clothes in some things. Gotta love my big girl.

Since the lawn was way over grown from all the rain. And still pretty wet. Brian took the bag off and then picked up the grass with the ranger. Brady volunteered to drive it and I have to say he did a pretty good job. But as you can see from the video below he and paislee's heads were getting quite a jostle=)

Paislee had a nice little ride. I'm not sure it was as fun for Brian!

Brian's brother Mitchell's dog had puppies. Since he is staying with us for awhile we have them at our house. They are a lab/boxer mix. Anyone interested please let us know. Krissa and Brady don't understand why we can't just keep them all.

Help Mom!

I was downstairs this morning and I here Paislee saying "Help mom help". So I run upstairs and this is what I see....

As you can see she tried to put her swim suit on but only succeeded in getting a leg hole over her head. I thought Krissa had done it but when I saw Krissa's reaction when she saw her I knew she hadn't done it. We all had a good laugh=)

While I was in Idaho I took advantage of my friend Amanda's photography skills. She did such a great job, I think the pictures turned out great=)

Idaho

I just got home from Idaho and I have to say I'm feeling happy I went but sad at the same time. we have such great friends up there. I totally felt like I was home. Amanda's house is gigantic so I could practically live there and she wouldn't know (don't think I didn't think about it=) We had such a great time there and the kids thought they were just in a constant sleep over with their friends. The kids got along great (well except for the constant fighting of Amanda's 1 year old and my 2 year old, but hey it was kinda entertaining to watch them fight) and I had a great time just visiting with Amanda. The only bad part was driving out of town. When we got home I have to say I think the house was cleaner than when we left. I have such a great hubby. Thanks for letting us stay Amanda I'm already planning my next vacation in Idaho!
We got some of the girls together for a game night, it was great getting together with the girls. I miss you guys already!

Ya they look like their getting along but really they are fighting over this chain=)

Paislee on the dinosaur at Bellevue park. She was calling him Barney but I'm pretty sure he looks a little more viscous than Barney.

We got to stop by and see Jessie one of Krissa's good friends . They were so excited to see each other.

You should always know your phone #...

I was talking to Brady today in the truck and I was quizzing him on how to spell our last name. I then started telling him how it was important to know your last name and phone number if you ever get lost. He said "yeah and you should know your phone number in case you get thrown in jail, because you know you only get one phone call". I have no idea where he got this but I thought it was pretty funny=)

Funny girl!

We went for a walk tonight and as we were walking we heard paislee singing. When I listened closer I heard "I kissed a girl and I wike it." She is too funny!

Fun Facts!

I took Paislee in for her 2 year well child check. She weighed 31 1/2 pounds and was 32 inches tall. In case your wondering that weight is in the 90th percentile (where she has been her whole life). I took Brady to have a birth mark checked and removed. They did his height and weight and he was 43 lbs and 43 inches tall. I guess my kids are just as tall as they are round=) Its crazy that there is only about 12 lbs between my 2 year old and my 6 and a half year old=)
